8/12 HCA Hospice Care Charity Golf Tournament

What HCA Hospice Care will hold its annual charity golf tournament at Keppel Club on August 23. This year, Singapore’s largest home hospice care provider hopes to raise $250,000 to provide palliative care for its patients.

9/12 15th Kidz Horizon Appeal Gala Dinner

What Since its founding in 2004, the Kidz Horizon Appeal has raised a total of $11m for the KKH Health Fund (KKHHF), in support of more than 1,000 needy children and women stricken with chronic illnesses, including cancer.
Now in its 15th year, the charity hopes to continue its good work, raising funds through its annual gala dinner on August 24, at The Ritz‑Carlton, Millenia Singapore. Known for its wildly fun dress‑up themes, this year’s event is no different, celebrating the majesty of empires and dynasties of the world, as well as the beauty of various cultures since the dawn of civilisation.
The funds raised will go towards KKHHF in helping reduce the financial burden of the families of patients whose medical needs range from special diets for premature babies to oxygen refills for those suffering from chronic lung diseases. The Kidz Horizon Appeal also supports the KK Women’s and Children’s Hospital Child Life Therapy Programme, which seeks to make the hospital experience less stressful for sick children.
