The godson of the late Princess Diana and eighth in line to the now-defunct Greek throne, Prince Philippos of Greece and Denmark wedded aviation heiress Nina Flohr in a surprise royal wedding on December 12. The couple first announced their engagement in September, after Philippos had proposed to Nina on the island of Ithaca in Greece earlier in summer.
Sharing the news of their marriage via Instagram yesterday, with Nina posting an adorable photo captioned “Just married (civilly)” of them in an embrace against a picturesque snowscape behind them. The bride wore a white two-piece tweed suit with a big white hair bow and Valentino heels, while the groom looked sharp in a black suit and blue tie.
