The prince reportedly has an open-ended return ticket back to California

Prince Harry reportedly left his return date up in the air when he booked his ticket to the UK to attend Prince Philip's funeral which happened last Saturday. His wife, Meghan Markle, is pregnant with their second child and therefore skipped the funeral to remain in California. Harry's open-ended ticket is likely because Queen Elizabeth will be celebrating her 95th birthday on Wednesday.

This week, The Sun reported that Prince Harry is considering delaying his return until after Queen Elizabeth's birthday on April 21 after a conversation he had with his brother, Prince William, and his father, Prince Charles following Prince Philip's funeral.

The brothers were seen chatting with each other along with Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, after the funeral service at St George’s Chapel. They were then joined by their father as they walked back to Windsor Castle.

The conversation sparks hope that the siblings will be able to heal their relationship which has been strained since Prince Harry and his wife stepped back from royal duties and later participated in an explosive interview with Oprah Winfrey while their grandfather was in the hospital. The interview brought heavy allegations of racism and ignorance of mental health struggles against the royal family.

Before the funeral, British tabloid Daily Mail had reported that Prince Harry's arrival into the UK was met with frostiness from some royal family members. Despite this, Harry reportedly remains on good terms with his grandmother, the Queen.

Vanity Fair this week also reported that the prince “wants to get back to [Meghan] as soon as possible,” and will be returning to California should his wife need him.
