1. SSO digital concerts

What The Singapore Symphony Orchestra will be streaming three concerts online this month, two of which are helmed by its recently appointed chief conductor, Austrian maestro Hans Graf. In his first performance on August 1, audiences can look forward to Graf's debut in the orchestra by listening to his arrangements of French composer Claude Debussy's String Quartet, followed by Czech composer Antonín Dvořák's Serenade in D minor, originally written for wind instruments, cello and the double bass. Second of the two concerts, held on August 29, will see the works of Mozart and Stravinsky paired together in an evening of music by two of the greatest classical composers in history.

The orchestra will also be presenting the SSO National Day Concert, which aims to unite the nation through music and features a slew of new works by Singapore's finest and youngest music composition talents, on August 15.
