It’s music to our ears: Singapore’s music scene has seen a revival in recent years with homegrown artists helping the industry go from strength to strength. One such band that has risen to fame since breaking onto the scene four years ago is pop quartet The Sam Willows. Made up of siblings Benjamin and Narelle Kheng, and their friends Sandra Riley Tang and Jon Chua, the band kicks off its Take Heart Tour at The Coliseum at Hard Rock Hotel in Resorts World Sentosa on 22 July.

More than just a national sensation, The Sam Willows is no stranger to the regional and even international music scene. Following the successful release of its self-titled debut EP in 2012, the band went on to become a favourite act at various local and international music festivals such as SXSW Music Festival in the US, WAM Festival in Australia and Music Matters in Singapore. It is also the first Southeast Asian act to break into the Spotify Global Viral 50 chart, a playlist updated weekly with the most shared, trending tracks across the world.

Expect an unforgettable show not only bringing tunes from its debut album Take Heart, but also surprises with special guests and never-before-heard songs.
