A vast majority of gyms in Singapore have taken the socially responsible initiative to temporarily close their doors in the light of the covid-19 pandemic that is affecting the world. But that doesn't mean its workouts are no longer accessible, nor does it give us an excuse to not get a good workout in from the comfort of our homes.

1. Evolve MMA

Continue your fitness journey with Boom Singapore as the Singapore-based boutique gym offers a variety of online classes for anyone looking for a good sweat sesh. With 11 boxing and HIIT workouts available on their Instagram channel—each inspired by their signature classes—carve out 30 to 50 minutes of your time each day to get moving at home.

3. Absolute Cycle Singapore

There is nothing quite like a heart-pumping spin session to get your day started. And lucky for us, the folks at Absolute Cycle Singapore has come up with a new home pop-up experience that allows cyclists to participate in their rhythmic cycling classes without heading to the studio, but its fastest fingers first to secure your spot. The first 60 people will have their stationary bikes delivered to them as well as access to more than 30 classes a week from its Singapore and Bangkok-based studios. 

4. Ballet Body

Train like a dancer as the founders of Ballet Body have kickstarted a series of 30-minute live classes, starting from this Friday. Essential equipment include a sturdy chair or table, ballet flats (or socks), an exercise mat, a smooth surface, and you're ready to go. For those looking for a simple stretch to end their day, the instructors have also provided their students with various poses to induce calm and reflection as you listen to your body's needs.

Apart from their highly-rated yoga classes, the Dog Down app also offers a suite of fitness activities perfect for beginners and avid fitness enthusiasts alike to use from the comfort of their homes. 

To help people keep active while in social isolation, the app has now granted free access to all users until May 1.
