Filming has been stopped on the set of The Sound Of Magic and Covid-19 testing is in progress

South Korean actor and singer, Ji Chang-wook has unfortunately tested positive for Covid-19 right in the middle of filming his upcoming Netflix series, The Sound Of Magic.

The star, who is well known for his roles in various K-dramas such as Backstreet Rookie and The K2, was tested over the weekend and received a positive result early this week. 

He has since gone into quarantine and is being treated for the virus, according to his agency, Glorious Entertainment.

In addition to that, filming has been stopped on the set of The Sound Of Magic where Ji is set to play the lead role in the series which is a dramatic adaptation of a popular Korean webtoon.

It will be directed by Kim Sung-yoon who has previously worked on Itaewon Class and Love In The Moonlight.

The cast and production staff are all being tested and so far, Hwang In-yeop and Choi Sung-eun have tested negative, according to their agencies.

Ji is also not the first Korean celebrity to fall victim to the virus. A number of stars have tested positive recently including Kim Sung-kyu from Infinite, Lee Min-hyuk from BtoB, as well as Doyoung and Junghwan from Treasure.
