What will the reboot be about?

The new reboot is set to introduce a new generation of private school teenagers in New York. The show, according to a statement by the producers, is meant to address “just how much social media–and the landscape of New York itself–has changed in the intervening years.”

In the show, the iconic blog has been replaced with an Instagram account where photos are posted of New York's elite engaging in questionable choices.

Who will the cast be?

There has been no word yet if any of the original cast will be making an appearance in the reboot. However, we do know that Kristen Bell will be returning as the narrator of Gossip Girl.

The new cast will comprise Emily Alyn Lind, Eli Brown, Savannah Smith, Whitney Peak and Jordan Alexander. We will also be seeing Jonathan Fernandez and Jason Gotay in the series.

How many episodes will we see?

There are currently 10 episodes that have been planned for the reboot with each one lasting 60 minutes.

Where and when can I watch it?

The series launched on July 8 on HBO Max for all subscribers. Unfortunately, it does not look like the show has any plans to be available on cable so you will have to have a subscription to HBO Max in order to watch it.

Of course, fingers crossed that this changes in the near future so make sure you watch this space to get the latest Gossip Girl updates.

Till then, xoxo.
