1/10 Ariel Mok

WHO SHE IS

The daughter of hedge fund manager and property developer Henry Mok, Ariel is a budding growth hacker and also helps to manage the family business. The 25-year-old scion shares that she is currently trying to initiate new business ideas and also build her investment portfolio so that she can eventually make her job a passion and her investments a cash flow. Always learning new things, Ariel counts horseback-riding, Latin dance, and e-sports amongst her eclectic interests, so there's never a dull moment with her.

Ariel is a strong advocate for animal rights. “I have known People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (Peta) since I learned to Google 'cute puppies'. It may be controversial, but it is the most engaged animal rights charity.” She was part of Peta's guerrilla marketing team herself, working on its campaigns such as Brave the Cage. Living up to her namesake—Ariel, the little mermaid—she is also passionate about sustainability and was part of the US-based Heal the Bay initiative and took up Marine Biology studies while still in college in the US.
