A culinary journey of the finest Italian dishes and wines within the grounds of the elegant Victoria Theatre and Concert Hall

Sinfonia Ristorante’s architecture is splendid—as is to be expected within the portals of the Victoria Concert Hall—but in no way intimidating. It sets the perfect backdrop for a decent Italian meal, which starts with the pleasant (but a tad light to the taste) marinated prawn salad and lobster capellini. Better bets for appetisers include the smoked duck carpaccio as well as the comforting leek and potato soup with veraci clams. As for mains, the beef cheek is delectably tender, with the liquorice pleasantly complementary to the excellent Barolo reduction.
