Min Jiang dishes up one of the best renditions of Peking duck in Singapore. Roasted to perfection in a custom-made wood-fired oven, the restaurant’s most popular dish starts off with a petite plate of the crispiest duck skin that melts in the mouth—best enjoyed with sugar. The menu also boasts an excellent selection of soups; the double-boiled wild chicken consommé with wonton and Tientsin cabbage served in clay pot is a comforting, flavourful broth that’ll leave you craving more. There are numerous fish and seafood options, including lobster and crab—but if you have to choose, pick something from the abalone menu. Simply done and executed with aplomb, the abalone is perfectly plump and hugely satisfying.
