“One of the things that first appealed to us was the unique layout of the ballroom that affords each and every guest a good view of the event. There was also the superb food quality, especially the signature chilli prawns; and the hotel’s strong reputation and central location. We had three events here: the marriage solemnisation ceremony, Chinese tea ceremony and a lunch reception. As we like the rustic style, we went with the hotel’s Gold Rush theme. Most of the compliments we received were about the round ballroom layout, the cosy atmosphere and the delicious food which was served at the right temperature. The banquet team is very experienced and understood our needs. We also received good advice during the planning process. The actual-day execution was seamless, giving us peace of mind.
