Wee Teng Wen

Managing partner, The Lo & Behold Group

A hospitality entrepreneur with an innovative bent, Wee Teng Wen presides over the spectacularly successful company The Lo & Behold Group

Wee Teng Wen is managing partner of The Lo & Behold Group, a hospitality company founded in 2005 that has re-invigorated the F&B and hotel industries with its creative restaurant and hotel concepts. Each property is carefully tailored to foster a specific experience, ranging from award-winning fine dining to a relaxing intimate brunch with loved ones.

Wee’s first establishment was Loof, a rooftop bar set amid greenery on top of Odeon Towers in the Central Business District, which he opened when he was just 25. Loof made a name with its Instagrammable setting, robust fare and unique South-East Asian cocktails, paving the way for Wee to subsequently launch his business empire. The Lo & Behold Group’s portfolio of establishments includes the Michelin-starred modern French restaurant Odette (now ranked at eighth spot on the World’s 50 Best Restaurants list), OverEasy, Tanjong Beach Club, private members club Straits Clan and The Warehouse Hotel.

Wee established a staff relief fund in 2020 to aid employees facing difficulties due to the pandemic. He also started Clink Clink, an online bottle shop in August 2020 that offers rare and limited-edition wines from around the globe.
