Self-made billionaire entrepreneur and investor Saurabh Mittal, head of Mission Holdings, came from a successful background in finance

Saurabh Mittal is the founder and chairman of private global investment holding company Mission Holdings, which focuses on building robust operating platforms in technology, financial services and media firms. The company helps entrepreneurs to pursue multi-billion-dollar opportunities and achieve massive scale with capital allocation and strategic value-add.

Mission Holdings is a shareholder in firms such as US-based software services company Incedo, fintech company Deserve and Asian martial arts property One Championship, of which Mittal was appointed vice-chairman in 2018.

Prior to Mission Holdings, Mittal was senior partner at Noonday, an affiliate of hedge fund Farallon Capital Management, where he oversaw public and private investments in financial services and technology, media and telecom. He was also a co-founder and the vice-chairman of Indian financial services and real estate conglomerate Indiabulls.

Mittal holds a degree in electrical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in Delhi, where he was Best Graduating Student, and also an MBA from Harvard Business School in the US. Both Mittal and his wife are philanthropists focusing on early-childhood health and education, as well as higher education. He is also a member of the Harvard Business School Alumni Board as well as Parivaar, a charity running India’s largest residential school for destitute children.
