Top corporate lawyer Lee Kim Shin is partner at pioneering Singapore legal firm Allen & Gledhill

Lee Kim Shin is partner of Allen & Gledhill, a multi-award-winning law firm that is also one of Singapore’s oldest, being founded by Rowland Allen and Joseph Gledhill in 1902. Allen & Gledhill has won a raft of accolades over the years, is regularly named as a top-tier legal practice in Asia and has made it to numerous “best in” lists. It also has offices in Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam and Myanmar.

Lee graduated in 1985 with a law degree from the National University of Singapore. He was admitted as an advocate and solicitor the following year, and quickly made a name for himself in corporate and commercial law. Lee has spent more than three decades with Allen & Gledhill, and also did a year-long stint with the Singapore High Court as Judicial Commissioner. His areas of practice include mergers and acquisitions, capital reductions and re-structurings, and local and regional joint ventures. 

Lee also sits on the board of directors of the Singapore Institute of Legal Education, energy company SP Group and Singapore Airlines. He is also a member of the governing board of Duke-NUS Medical School.
