After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Melbourne in 1963, Koh Seow Chuan established Design Partnership with his business partners four years later. The full-service architecture firm, which was renamed DP Architects in 1975, engaged in large-scale architectural projects both locally and regionally, quickly made a name with its excellence in design.
Co-founder of full-service architecture firm behind Suntec City, Paragon, National Library Building and St Andrew’s Cathedral among others. Also a prominent heritage philanthropist that has donated over 2,700 historical items to the National Library Board. He is a member of various professional associations including the Royal Institute of British Architects, the Malaysian Institute of Architects, the Royal Australian Institute of Architects and the Singapore Institute of Architects.
Koh is also a prominent heritage philanthropist, regularly donating items from his collection of historical documents, old postcards, cultural artefacts, maps, photographs, antique books and artworks.

An avid philatelist, Koh Seow Chuan has been collecting stamps since he was five, when the foreign stamps brought home from overseas by his gold-bullion trader father instilled a lifelong fascination in the young boy.
