Partner, Rajah & Tann Singapore
Gregory Vijayendran is a partner at law firm Rajah & Tann Singapore, where he specialises in arbitration and dispute resolution, and commercial and civil litigation. Appointed senior counsel in 2019, he has been lauded for his work in the fields of insolvency, re-structuring and re-organisation law, and named among the top legal operators working in these areas.
Vijayendran, who graduated from the National University of Singapore, was admitted to the Singapore Bar in 1993. He worked at two other law firms for 15 years before joining Rajah & Tann Singapore. He is also known for being a champion of pro bono work, which earned him the Law Society’s inaugural Pro Bono Ambassador Award in 2009. Vijayendran is also chairman of the Law Society Pro Bono Services, which provides legal assistance to the community and organisations that help the needy and disadvantaged.
Vijayendran, who is also an Asian silver medallist in chess, has also conducted seminars on topics such as international business transactions, non-profit management and company law.

Gregory Vijayendran was the founding president of Club Rainbow, a non-profit organisation that supports children with chronic illnesses and their families. He served in this role from 1996 to 2015.
