Rolls-Royce picks Singapore’s Garden by the Bay to reveal its most extravagant creation to date
In the opulent setting of Singapore’s Gardens by the Bay, Rolls-Royce Motor Cars unveiled the world’s most expensive luxury car: the USD$30 million Arcadia Droptail. A one-off vehicle crafted not merely from metal and leather, but from the dreams and desires of one discerning VVIP customer, bearing the exquisite craftsmanship and visionary design synonymous with Rolls-Royce.
The Arcadia Droptail is the third in the ultra-exclusive coachbuild commission, leaving just one more to complete the set of four. The first of this exclusive commission was the Rolls-Royce Sweptail, unveiled in 2017, followed by the Rolls-Royce Boat Tail in 2021.

The Arcadia Droptail derives its name from the mythical realm described in Ancient Greek lore as “Heaven on Earth”. As guests marvelled at the car’s clean, sleek lines and impeccable detailing, it became evident that this machine embodied the very essence of divine perfection.
The inspiration behind the Arcadia transcended mere aesthetics; it was a fusion of international cultures and traditions. Drawing from the precision and lush greenery of modernist tropical sky gardens in Singapore, Indonesia, and Vietnam, as well as the organic forms celebrated in British ‘Biomimetic’ architecture, the Arcadia emerged as a harmonious blend of the natural and the man-made.
