Congratulations! The Oscar winner and the former Ferrari CEO have reportedly tied the knot in a private ceremony

Michelle Yeoh, 60, and her partner of 19 years, former Ferrari CEO Jean Todt, 77, have reportedly tied the knot in a private ceremony on July 28.

The news was announced on social media by Portuguese racing driver Felipe Massa, who shared the couple’s wedding announcement as well as some pictures of the ceremony in an Instagram post on his account. It reveals the couple met in Shanghai on June 4, 2004. It was apparently love at the first sight for them, as Todt proposed to the actress less than two months after that.

The expected but low-key wedding ceremony took place in Geneva, where Yeoh and Todt celebrated their love surrounded by friends and family.

The wedding, which was kept secret, surprised their fans who sent many well wishes to the happy couple under Massa’s post.

Yeoh made history by becoming the first Asian actress to win the Best Actress award at the Oscars this year for her role in Everything Everywhere All at Once (2022), and Todt was by her side that evening. The actress recently made an appearance in the Disney+ series American Born Chinese (2023), and is expected to appear in the film A Haunting in Venice later this year.

Since the wedding, Yeoh has updated her fans and shared details from the big day, and raved about how much she loved her outfit on the day, which was designed by Schiaparelli. “Thank q my darling big Brother Diego and Daniel for my stunning @schiaparelli Face of Happiness dress to say hello as Mr & Mrs Todt,” she wrote in an instagram post.
