South Korean actress Jeon Do-yeon is a household name in her native country and has been a popular figure within the entertainment industry for over two decades. But she's not slowing down any time soon as the Hallyu star is currently the talk of the town thanks to her role in the latest K-drama series, Crash Course in Romance.
Since her film debut in The Contact in 1997, the 50-year-old actress has seen a steady increase in her popularity, being loved for her warm personality. Over the years, she has taken on a wide variety of roles ranging from a delivery girl in K-drama series You Are My Sunshine to a housemaid in the psychological thriller Housemaid. The veteran actress has also won various accolades, including Best Actress at the 60th Cannes Film Festival in 2017.

1. Star In My Heart
One of Jeon’s first K-dramas, the 1997 series sees her play Soon-ae, the best friend of main protagonist Lee Yun-hee (Choi Jin-sil). This was also one of the first K-dramas that was broadcasted outside of South Korea, kickstarting the Hallyu or Korean wave.
