For many avid travellers, a trip to Iceland for the awe-inspiring northern lights is probably on their travel wish list. But even if you’ve booked the flight, between seasonal changes and light pollution, catching the Aurora will not be a given.

Enter LG’s Lights Out, Stars On exhibition. Held in Reykjavik, Iceland, this exhibition is your answer to a disruption-free view of the northern lights. The stunning images and videos are projected through 40 OLED televisions, boasting a total of over 330 million pixels to deliver lifelike effects.

Kickstarting this exhibition, LG held an opening OLED themed concert in July with 1,000 guests in attendance. Alongside the breathtaking visuals, guests also enjoyed the accompanying performances by renowned Icelandic musicians, Ásgeir, GusGus and Ólafur Arnalds.

“We’re excited that our event in Iceland has been so successful, attracting so many visitors and influencers,” said Brian Kwon, president of LG Home Entertainment Company. “Lights Out, Stars On is an excellent example of how unique approaches can help the company reach new audiences and clearly communicate the advantages of OLED.”

The exhibition, running from now until November 20, also showcases the photographs of wildlife and nature captured by renowned Icelandic photographers.
