At the final fitting for the wedding gown, I was sitting there waiting and saw that five girls had to carry the dress in. It looked amazing.
When I first saw it, it looked like a cloud. I didn’t have that TV moment where I burst into tears; I just spent time admiring the craftsmanship that went into it, especially because the people I talked to most were the team from the atelier who did all the hard work.
They had to hand-pleat and iron every layer of tulle. It was just incredible. The attention to detail on how the dress relates to the person wearing it is what makes it such a special creation.
