When May 6 to August 27

What Back for its seventh edition, the Imaginarium at the Singapore Art Museum is a hotbed for all things creative and otherworldly. With this year's theme exploring environmental adaptations in a utopic future, expect to run into brightly coloured landscapes such as the Floating Mountain by Unchalee Anantawat (photographed above), which looks like something pulled right out of a Dr Seuss story. Jump into an that are sure to keep the little ones bubbling with excitement.

When May 27 to June 26

What If reptiles aren't your child's usual pick when it comes to animals, perhaps Reptopia at the Singapore Zoo could warm them up to these under-appreciated cold-blooded creatures. Through a series of close encounters and craft sessions, Tatlings can learn about the fascinating and peculiar abilities of reptiles, because there really is more than meets the parietal eye when it comes to these scaly creatures.

Singapore International Children's Film Festival

When May 22 to June 11

What We like to think of the International Children's Film Festival as Cannes for the kids, but maybe without celebrity coverage. The festival, targeted specifically towards children aged 2 to 18, curates a series of films from around the globe to expose kids to an array of culture while captivating their imaginations with ardent storytelling. A must-see for the movie-buff Tatlings!

 Ski at Urban Ski

What If you and your family have a ski trip planned for the winter, why not prep the little ones with some ski lessons before hitting the snow? The ski slope at Urban Ski has a treadmill-like structure with a special carpet that simulates the surface of a snow mountain, allowing riders to experience the motion of skiing downhill, so Tatlings can test catching an edge right here at home.

What Putting dinosaurs and robots together makes for an unexpected recipe of the imagination led workshop, Dino Robot Factory. It is a dream for any science-loving Tatling as the workshop coalesce the basics of design, automation, assembly, and mechanic to create an exhibition that merges the fascination with dinosaurs with the exploration of technology.

When June 2

What Mark your calendars for the Spectra light and water show at the event plaza of Marina Bay Sands on June 2. The extravagant multimedia display will feature an orchestration of dancing water and flashing colourful lights synchronised with a melodic composition of music by Kenn C., a local music arranger and producer. A  spectacle for kids and adults alike!

What How does befriending real life cyborgs sound to your child? Head to the Human + exhibition in the Art Science Museum to be surrounded by technological advancements that make a smartphone look like a potato in comparison. Where they can converse with 'Nadine', one of the world's most realistic female humanoid robots, that is able to engage in conversations and remember previous encounters, making it possible to actually become friends with a robot. Although little ones cannot technically bring her out on a play date, it would still be pretty cool to make casual banter with someone who has knowledge exceeding any human being.

What Singapore's newest museum Parkview has found a voice in Singapore's rapidly developing art scene, breaking the ice with its exhibition 'On Humanity and Sharks'. While the apparent dialogue between artists discussing the negative connotations is appealing to adults, the massive visuals are quick to impress the little ones. The exhibition has packaged a serious topic in a digestible manner that even children can pick up on the messaging, making a fun day at the museum, gawking at the impressive visuals, an equally meaningful one!

 Disney in Concert: A Dream is a Wish

When July 14 to July 15

What Although this is a couple of weeks after the  June holidays, we foresee the Tatlings reminiscing what was of their holidays, so why not treat them to an afternoon of their favourite Disney tunes? With orchestration by Base Philharmonic Orchestra and scenes from Disney movies playing on the backdrop, it's like an elevated version of a Disney music video marathon, fit for any avid Disney fan.
