German Film Festival

What One of the biggest foreign film festivals in Singapore, the 21st edition of the German Film Festival presents more than 30 films spanning across a myriad of genres—from art-house and comedy, to historical drama and documentaries. Recently premiered at the Cannes Film Festival, Western will open the two-week festivities. Other notable programmes includes post-show discussions with filmmakers Jakob Schmidt (To Be a Teacher), Susanne Regina Meures (Raving Iran), and actress Sylvaine Faligant (Club Europe); and a showcase of short films from the students of Puttnam School of Film and Animation and Lasalle College of the Arts.

CÉ LA VI Sky High Brunch

What Party and dine at CÉ LA VI’s fifth edition of the highly-anticipated Sky High Brunch. Catch festival favourites The Cuban Brothers as they dish out their entertaining brand of funk and soul, and enjoy a free flow feast of modern Asian cuisine from executive chef Joey Sergentakis. Quench your thirst at the do-it-yourself cocktail booth as you mix up your very own Bloody Mary.

Singapore River Festival 2017

What Celebrate one of SIngapore's famed landmarks at the Singapore River Festival. Spread across Boat Quay, Clarke Quay and Robertson Quay over two days, a stimulating line-up of events and activities await. 'Turn up the River' is the annual festival's theme for the year, illuminating the waterfronts with light projections (Clarke Quay Fountain Square) and an LED kite display (Clarke Quay Central promenade). Singapore's first Night Regatta in 20 years will also take place, as over 200 dragon boat teams compete from day to night for the Regatta Rumble, culminating into a River Street Party that boasts live entertainment, games, food, and drinks. For a slower pace, unwind over beer yoga at The Quayside, or indulge in a movie under the stars at Quayside Cinema II, which will be screening local film 3688—there's something for everyone.

AccorHotels Singapore Food & Wine Festival

What Nine days, 15 hotels and resorts, 40 establishments, and more than 100 chefs. French hospitality group AccorHotels knows how to throw a festival. An island-wide food and wine extravaganza dedicated to local cuisine, the festival will feature pool parties, cocktail and baking masterclasses, and a host of famed chefs like Kirk Westaway, Amos Ting and Louis Tay. To end the festivities with a bang, a Super Sunday Brunch will take place on November 12, showcasing the best of AccorHotels’ restaurants and bars.
