Miniature versions of luxury cars have become common playthings for toddlers—but this one is significantly different.
The Rolls-Royce SRH, named after the St Richard’s Hospital Pediatric Day Surgery Unit in the marque’s home town of Chichester, West Sussex, has been unveiled today to very important customers. The mini car has been created for the hospital to allow their littlest patients, who are awaiting surgery, to drive themselves through the Pediatric Unit’s corridors to the operating theatre. Along the way, the children will even find traffic signs to guide them. The objective of this entire experience is to reduce patient stress.
The first two test drivers from St Richard’s Hospital are Molly Matthews and Hari Rajyaguru, who shared their experience with their families and the day surgery team. Watch the video below to witness their joy.
