The world’s most elite tennis players return to the court this May for the French Open (Roland Garros) 2016, and just in time for the event Nike have launched the NikeCourt Paris Collection 2016.

Featuring tennis gear for both men and women in a range of blue hues, France’s signature colour, the NikeCourt Paris Collection 2016 includes all you need to kit you out from head-to-toe this season and celebrate the second Grand Slam of the season.

Featuring classic tennis silhouettes such as pleated skirts and tennis dresses for women and tennis polos for men, the latest NikeCourt collection has also been given a modern update with the addition of capri tights, hooded vests and crew neck T-shirts.

And as Roland Garros’s clay court requires even more strength than other surfaces, the collection has been designed to enhance performance and prepare Nike athletes for an even more strenuous game with high tech fabrics and well thought-out cuts to provide optimal comfort and movement.

Modern design elements also extend to footwear, with NikeCourt’s range of tennis shoes, the Nikecourt Air Zoom Ultrafly Clay, created with slower clay courts in mind to improve performance not just for the elite athlete but for all tennis players. Special details include a “herringbone outsole pattern for traction” on the clay and a “flexible overlay” to keep out clay.

And for when the game is over, NikeCourt’s range of off-court apparel honours the full ceremony of tennis with a range that combines the latest sports innovations with classic sporting style and timeless Parisian elegance.

The NikeCourt collection for Paris is now available at nike.com/nikecourt and select Nike retailers.

The French Open qualifiers started 16 May, while the tournament started 22 May and ends 5 June.
