1/10 Capella Singapore

Capella's cascading pool brings to mind the beautiful rice paddy fields of Bali. With three tiered pools, there's a different experience to enjoy at each level—the horizon at the very top, ample sunlight in the middle tier, and at the lowest tier, the beach in close proximity. If you're lucky, you may even catch the resident peacocks that Capella has come to be known for. If you're craving more privacy, the property's 38 villas each offer a private outdoor plunge pool.

2/10 Crowne Plaza Changi Airport

Here's something new—instead of overlooking the beach or the city skyline, Crowne Plaza Changi Airport's pool offers views of two Singapore icons: Jewel Changi Airport and the Air Traffic Control Tower. The outdoor landscaped pool also enjoys plenty of shade under the palm trees and features a deck for rest and relaxation by the waters.

3/10 JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach

Why chill by the poolside when you can simply lounge on the water? JW Marriott Hotel Singapore South Beach features two well-appointed infinity pools as part of its sky gardens, Flow18—which is sheltered—and Ebb 6. Both pools offer sweeping views of the cityscape, and the hotel's creative design of placing lounge chairs and tables inside the pool makes for a great photo op.

4/10 Mandarin Oriental, Singapore

A haven for rest and relaxation amidst the city, Mandarin Oriental offers a stunning 25-metre outdoor pool complete with poolside fountains and water sunbeds. If you prefer to lounge by the pool, the decks are also well-appointed with cabanas, overlooking the iconic Marina Bay Sands and the cityscape. There's a separate pool for children to swim and play.

5/10 Parkroyal Collection Pickering

An oasis in the urban jungle, the Parkroyal Collection Pickering offers an outdoor infinity pool amidst its hotel-in-a-garden, overlooking its lush landscaping and the city skyline. The pool is lined with colourful cabanas that resemble birdcages that complement the nature-inspired aesthetic of the hotel, offering a comfortable space to rest and relax with a glass of cocktail in hand after a few laps in the pool.

6/10 Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa

The centrepiece of Sofitel Singapore Sentosa Resort & Spa is perhaps its sprawling 33-metre pool, lined with gleaming aquamarine tiles and plenty of cabanas to lounge in. But if you prefer a private swimming space, each of the resort's four 300 sqm villas features a personal pool with private deck, surrounded by lush greenery for privacy.

7/10 The Barracks Hotel, The Outpost Hotel, and Village Hotel Sentosa

Shared between sister properties The Barracks Hotel, The Outpost Hotel, and Village Hotel Sentosa are four themed pools: Pamukkale Pool, Adventure Pool, Lazy River Pool and Children's Play Pool. Inspired by its namesake—the Pamukkale pools in Turkey—the former features organically-shaped pool terraces that resemble waves, overlooking the sea's horizon. Meanwhile, the Adventure Pool offers social pods for two on tiny, private isles on the water. For a relaxing pool time, grab a float and let the gentle currents of the Lazy River Pool, inspired by the Amazon river, carry you away. Little ones can get in on the fun too at the Children's Play Pool, mimicking a man-made beach with slides and water features.

8/10 The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore

Lit up by the underwater lights and the surrounding city skyline, The Ritz-Carlton, Millenia Singapore's 25-metre outdoor pool is even more stunning in the night. Nestled amidst lush greenery, the pool features a three-tiered timber deck furnished with sun loungers and private cabanas for a relaxing time by the pool. An al fresco pool bar also offers a selection of refreshing cocktails and bar bites.

9/10 W Singapore Sentosa Cove

Spanning 1,338-square meters, W Singapore Sentosa Cove's sprawling Wet pool could easily be mistaken for a water park. In fact, the 24-hour pool is one of Singapore’s largest resort outdoor pool areas. Enjoy lush landscapes and views of the sparkling South China Sea in the private cabanas—which featuring an iPad, an iPod and a mist fan for your comfort and entertainment—or take a dip into the water and enjoy the calming sonic waves emanated by an underwater speaker. At night, the water is illuminated by gorgeous hues from the deck.

10/10 Marina Bay Sands

No Instagram-worthy pool list is complete without Marina Bay Sands' rooftop infinity pool. Cited as the world's largest, the pool towers above the city skyline at 57 levels high for panoramic views of Singapore. A landmark in its own right, the infinity pool has made its appearance in the feeds of celebrities and famous personalities. Is there a better photo-taking opportunity than this?
