For some, it’s the venue, while for others, it’s the theme, but for most brides, it’s the wedding dress that sets the tone for the entire wedding celebration.

Over the past decade or so, brides who fall in the last group have embraced the arrival of headlining names in the international bridalwear scene through leading bridal boutiques here. No longer do they have to travel to Paris, London or Milan to seek out the dress of their dreams.

One go-to boutique for style-savvy brides is The Proposal, which brings in high-profile designers in the likes of Pronovias, Reem Acra, Basil Soda and David Fielden to Singapore. Since its recent acquisition of another popular multi-label bridal boutique, Trinity Gallery—it’s currently housed at The Proposal’s Capitol Piazza premises—brides-to-be can now find the largest number of top bridal gown labels under its roof ever.

From the brazenly glamorous couture threads of Israeli-based Galia Lahav, which recently became the  first Israeli fashion house to be inducted into the prestigious Chambre Syndicale de la Haute Couture, to the fairytale-inspired creations of Australia’s Paolo Sebastian, and the feminine allure of a Monique Lhuillier gown to the exquisite handwork of Oscar de la Renta, and even traditional eveningwear, you’ll find it here. The latest to join the stable of bridalwear brands: Elie Saab Bridal, which made its debut with the Spring 2017 collection.

Here’s a peek at the latest looks from the designers available at the Capitol Piazza boutique, #01-67/68. Be prepared to fall in love!
