Italian furniture manufacturer Nicoline Italia's Singapore showroom serves as a modern home for its finely-crafted sofas and furniture pieces. Just like the sofas that the Italian brand is famous for, the cosy space exudes a contemporary spirit with sleek elegance and a refined allure. Besides casting your eye on the stylish selections, you can also have a feel of the different finishes yourself.

2. Royal Interiors

Housed in the historic Tan Boon Liat building, Royal Interiors has expanded its former showroom with a new street-facing space. The current showroom, which spans 21,000sqft across four levels, showcases furniture pieces from European brands such as Kartell, Walter Knoll, Fiam Italia and Riva 1920. Featuring glass panels and double-height ceilings, the spawling showroom space aims to inspire visitors with new decor and design ideas.

3. Sojao

Luxury organic cotton textile brand Sojao has opened their first brick-and-mortar store after years of thriving in the online retail sphere. Their new showroom, housed in a former shophouse in Joo Chiat, offers an immersive retail experience with a rustic charm. The vibrant area houses the best of the brand's offerings—which include bedding, bath towels, and loungewear—and will periodically feature wares from other local brands as well.

4. Christofle

Dressed in an cream-and-brown palette and punctuated with olive green accents, Christofle’s new boutique is a homage to the colours favoured by founder Charles Christofle. With their ability to bring out the shine and lustre of silver, this elegant setting is the perfect backdrop for the French maison’s silverware. The boutique also exudes an elegant Parisian spirit with its light oak herringbone flooring, mirrors in an antique-inspired finish, complemented by a striking contemporary chandelier.

5. Scene Shang

Homegrown brand Scene Shang has found a new home. Taking up the top floor of an eighties-style industrial building, the new showroom and retail space spans 7,000sqft and is a treasure trove of decor inspiration. Besides thoughtfully-designed displays of its furnishings, the showroom also boasts an array of homewares and objets d'art from other local designers and makers, while featuring quirky elements that celebrate the brand’s modern Asian signature style.

6. Marquis QSquare

Homegrown furniture purveyor Marquis QSquare, known for carrying some of the finest names in the European furnishing industry, has moved to a new home in Marina Square. The new showroom, spanning 18,000 sq ft, is an expansive space that features 10 mono-brand displays, that include brands like Bentley Home, Versace Home, and Gallotti&Radice. 

Drop by the showroom and you'll be able to have a look and feel of the different furnishings for yourself. The furniture is also displayed and arranged as home settings such as living rooms, dining areas and bedrooms, to help provide a realistic visualisation of these pieces within your actual abode.

7. Toso Gallery

Japan's top curtains and blinds manufacturer Toso has launched the very first Toso gallery in Singapore, in partnership with local smart blinds label Mc.2. The 2,000 sq ft gallery houses over 20 selections of blinds and curtains on display.

The Japanese-crafted windows designs are showcased through various home settings. Styled by Japanese interior designer Sangetsu, the varied spaces display a range of interior styles—from minimal Scandinavian settings to a replica of a vintage home—to better demonstrate how the blinds can suit various tastes and preferences.

8. Industry+

Local contemporary design manufacturer Industry+ opens the doors to its new showroom with a presentation of Farewell To Reason, a new colourful collection of furniture made from fluid onyx. Designed by KSY, the artist alter-ego of designer Nathan Yong, the collection consists of seven limited-edition furniture designs such as a barstool, bench, and table. Built from precious onyx by MM Galleri, the collection aims to push the boundaries of the meaning of furniture by using state-of-the-art technology to manipulate its form. 

Presented in conjunction with Archifest 2021, the collection will be on view from October 22 to November 21 this year.

9. Frette

Italian luxury bedding and lifestyle brand Frette has opened a monobrand boutique in Singapore at the Marina Bay Sands. Designed by Milan-based architecture and design firm Archibrando, the showroom features an earth-toned colour palette and Neptune Gold Brazilian marble-clad walls, mirroring signature elements of the global flagship boutique in Milan’s Via Manzoni. Spanning 65 sq m, the showroom carries Frette’s range of iconic luxe white bed and bath linens, the brand's signature Chains and Links Embroidery collection, as well as colourful seasonal pieces.

10. Silky Miracle

London-based luxury bespoke home and lifestyle brand Silky Miracle makes an entrance in Singapore with their first retail showroom located atop Dempsey Hill, marking the brand's Southeast Asian debut. Drawing design cues from Silky Miracle's wide range of luxury bedding and loungewear crafted from finest silk, the boutique features an elegant and modern interior. The showroom offers visitors the chance at having a feel of the lustrous fabric for themselves through various showcases that highlights the lightweight bedding sets and home wear pieces.

11. Supermama, The Museum Store at National Museum of Singapore

Opened in August 2021, the new Supermama section in National Museum of Singapore will function as the homegrown tableware brand’s flagship store. Located in the museum store, the retail area features the brand’s best-selling collections; the local firm also has another outpost at the Asian Civilisation Museum (ACM) that opened in the same month.

“After operating as an independent store for the last 10 years, we believe that the shift to the museums will allow us access to a treasure cove of historical and heritage content that will allow us to tell the Singapore story better,” says Edwin Low, founder of Supermama. “We will also continue to expand our work with local creatives as the go-to store for locally designed goods and souvenirs.”

12. Cassina at W. Atelier

The entire ground floor of the W. Atelier showroom has been transformed with inspiring vignettes featuring furnishings from Italian manufacturer Cassina. Dubbed the Cassina Perspective, the 3,229sqft space marries iconic designs with contemporary pieces to create stylish nooks that provide plenty of decor inspiration.

13. Jab Anstoetz

German upholstery and furnishings brand Jab Anstoetz has opened its first Southeast Asian flagship store in Singapore, in collaboration with local retailer P5. The new boutique features its collections in modern interior settings, while its Fabric Bar displays a vibrant array of upholstery textiles to complement its elegant furniture, flooring and lighting collections.

Designed by Upstairs_, this new showroom features various laminates from Arova; it is currently exhibiting sculptures crafted by three local studios. Key areas include a zone dubbed Pixel City, which comprises colourful blocks clad in laminates, and a digital simulator that illustrates how the decorative material will look in various settings.

15. Barovier&Toso

16. Hafary

The local building material supplier is currently renovating its showroom and headquarters, Hafary Gallery; once completed, the 43,000sqft space will serve as a treasure trove of decor inspiration. Designed by Park + Associates, the showroom will feature unique experiential zones that take their cue from the look of luxury hotels and residences, with each area presenting its tile collections in inspiring vignettes.

17. Prestige Global Designs
