Itching to get away but sad to leave your furry buddy behind? Join the Royal Albatross as they set sail on the world's first dog cruise.

A cruise designed specially for dogs and their owners certainly sounds like a dream. However, this year, the luxury tall ship Royal Albatross is making it a reality with the world's very first dog cruise.

So what exactly is a dog cruise? Well, this cruise is a special event that is actually an extension of the Royal Albatross' human-only romantic dinner cruises that sail from Friday to Sunday every weekend.

As avid dog lovers, the team at Royal Albatross thought about what this dinner cruise would be like if it could cater to both dogs and humans with an emphasis on dogs joining in the fun by being allowed to eat at the table with their humans.

This month, Royal Albatross has partnered with Sunny Chong Dog Training School to make this cruise a reality. Considering the safety risks involved with having that many dogs on board, the training school's team will come in to provide a complimentary dog "interview" before they are allowed to sail. This will conveniently be carried out in the owner's home and will ensure that your dog is ready to set sail.

Optional training is also available if you would like your pup to be seated at the dining table with you during meal times.

This cruise promises to be a memorable experience for both you and your dog with the vessel taking you from Royal Albatross’ berth at Resorts World Sentosa, along Sentosa’s southern beaches and around the Southern Islands over the course of two and a half hours.

Guests will get to enjoy a scrumptious and beautifully plated three-course meal with an optional human-only six-course with wine pairing menu. There will also be a free flow of soft drinks onboard.

Your dog will naturally be treated like a king with its own gourmet three-course dinner. These special meals will be provided by Bom Bom and will contain all-natural ingredients. They will also get to enjoy specially planned dog activities and surprise goodies while onboard.

It is really the perfect and most luxurious experience you could treat your pup and yourself to this year.
