Legendary French oceanographer Jacques Cousteau once described the sea as a wonderful place with the ability to capture hearts. “The sea, once it casts its spell, holds one in its net of wonder forever,” he enthused.

To some of us, this fascination with the sea is born of the sense of freedom its vastness brings. To others, it is the calming sound of the waves breaking on the coastline or the hull of one’s yacht cutting through water. In either case, there is no disputing the sea’s ability to stir emotions, inspire the imagination and bring joy.

Allowing yacht owners to further indulge in their fervour for sailing the seas and living on water, Italian yacht builder Riva has introduced the Riva 100’ Corsaro, its first maxi flybridge superyacht to make its world debut in Asia.

A joint design effort by the Ferretti Group, which owns Riva, and luxury yacht architect, Officina Italiana Design, the 100’ Corsaro is based on the fundamental idea that a Riva is at once majestically imposing and incredibly spacious, with an aerodynamic form that is as sharp as a spear.

The new Riva 100’ Corsaro will capture your heart with its bold and beautiful silhouette and gloriously spacious interior.

At nearly 30m long with just under 7m of beam, the 100’ Corsaro’s wedge-shaped body allows for features typically seen in larger superyachts. The most obvious example here is the elegant, wide-body master suite on the main deck with a central double bed, walk-in wardrobe, desk and armchair. The en-suite bathroom is spacious as well, with twin washbasins and a roomy standing shower.

And because living the good life is better when you have the people you love by your side, the yacht also features four guest suites mid-ship. Two aft cabins even benefit from the full-length hull glass that gives occupants amazing views of the sea and an abundance of natural light. In fact, the large windows spanning the entire hull and superstructure offer panoramic views of the surrounding seascape that will undoubtedly leave an indelible impression on seafarers.

The interior of the Riva 100’ Corsaro can be customised to individual taste, complete with your favourite furnishings and fittings.

Another highlight of the 100’ Corsaro is its expansive, full-length sun deck, which sits above the main deck—this is where you can dine at the al fresco dining room, and adjourn to the adjacent bar to sip on cocktails.

Indeed, for all its refinement and sophistication, the 100’ Corsaro also demonstrates the ability to thrill on the cruise, with its MTU 16V Series 2000 engines. Depending on your taste for speed and power, there are two engine options: a twin 2,435hp and a twin 2,638hp. On a full tank of fuel, you’ll get to sail a range of 320 nautical miles at a cruising speed of 25 knots.
