The Huracán Spyder is available in two versions: an 610hp all-wheel-drive and a 580hp rear-wheel-drive

The introduction of the Lamborghini Huracán Spyder marks a level of exquisite motoring virtually unparalleled in the automotive world. Mixing a heady blend of power and performance, it drives like no other.

If we were pressed to describe it, the words ‘revolutionary technology’ come to mind. With its distinctive presence, one glance is all you need to pique your curiousity about this powerful ride. Its lightweight, electro-hydraulic soft top—which pulls back in a speedy 17sec—exudes an aura of confidence.

Both the all-wheel-drive LP610-4 and the rear-wheel-drive versions are powered by a naturally-aspirated 5.2l V10 engine that starts and accelerates with a roar and drives with a sweet purr. You’ll get an adrenaline rush too, when you realise how hard you can push the 610hp LP610-4, which features an electronically-controlled all-wheel-drive setup. Regardless of rain or shine, it never misses a beat with its precise road handling.

The 580hp rear-wheel-drive edition, released in January this year, is “a car for those with a passion for life,” says Stefano Domenicali, the Italian marque’s CEO. 33kg lighter than the LP610-4, this model doesn’t lose out much in terms of handling and performance–it clocks in at 3.6 seconds for its century sprint, just a mere 0.2 second slower. With an interior featuring Alcantara and fine Nappa leather, you can take customisation to the next level by having your initials or family crest stitched on.

Every moment behind the wheel is one to savour and a full-on assault on your senses, as you experience pure exhilaration that only driving a Lamborghini Huracán Spyder can bring.
