Frolic by the swimming pool with Singapore-based French artist Aude Gooly in her solo exhibition La Piscine
When it’s summer all-year round in Singapore, a dip in the swimming pool is always welcome. Often associated with fun, refreshment, relaxation and vacation, the pool is for French artist Aude Gooly “a place of well-being, introspection and calm where you can relax in a refined, elegant, and refreshing décor”.
Join the Singapore-based painter by the pool (with safe management measures in place, of course) at her solo exhibition La Piscine (The Swimming Pool) presented by Miaja Art Collections at The Substation this weekend. The exhibition is in conjunction with Maison Miaja’s Summer Art Jam, which gathers visual art, fashion and music in one space.

Since young, Gooly has travelled the world, discovering new countries and landscapes, and this has sparked her imagination and creativity, often navigating between reality and fantasy. “Every place I have lived and the world I have evolved in has always inspired me.” For the past 11 years, Gooly has had the opportunity to express herself on Singapore’s cultural richness.
