Fashion maestro Karl Lagerfeld has reportedly landed a new interior design job for Miami’s new Estates at Acqualina residential project. The fashion mogul will design the lobby areas in the two 50-storey condo towers, WWD reports, drawing inspiration from the state of Florida.

“I am not an architect and I am not an interior designer in a real professional sense,” Lagerfeld told the site. “But it is a challenge to experiment with different big volumes.”

The project is slated to open in Miami in 2020. It follows another interior design project for the designer in Toronto, who is also creating lobby spaces for Art Shoppe Lofts + Condos, set to open in 2019 or 2020.
