Crestbrick is on a mission to help every homeowner find their dream abode
When Germaine Chow, CEO of Crestbrick, was in the UK property hunting with her husband Shawn Lee as well as her friends Benny Ong and Ivan Cai, they were vexed at how the majority of the agents they met were more interested in closing the deal rather than selling a home.
“My friends and I realised that no one does portfolio planning on a global level,” she shares. “When we came back to Singapore to look for homes locally, we found that most firms did not take a strategic approach to running their real estate agencies. Crestbrick is here to fill in the gaps with our Mars approach: our acronym for services that combine marketing, aesthetic staging, research and data, and strategic negotiation. These are very important pillars from a buyer’s perspective.”

Crestbrick was thus co-founded by the couple and their friends with a bold mission of “changing the lives of property owners”. It was a daring venture but one Chow deemed worthwhile, being guided throughout her life and career by the words of American self-help entrepreneur Anthony Robbins: “The path to success is to take massive, determined action”.
Today, Crestbrick also operates in the UK, New Zealand and Malaysia. We speak to Chow to learn more about the firm, and the business of buying and selling real estate.
