Following the tragic earthquake in Nepal, Bulgari have teamed up with leading charity Save the Children, once again to help children and families affected by the tragedy. 

 

Since the devastating earthquake hit Nepal on April 25th, it is estimated that over seven thousand people have died, with over 14,000 people being injured and 320,000 children being made homeless. 

Continuing both their humanitarian efforts, and their affliation with Save the Children, a charity Bulgari has worked with since 2009, donating $35 million to date, the luxury jewellers have supported the crisis by donating $500,000 to help children and families affected by the earthquake.

Speaking of the recent donation, Chief Executive Officer of the Bulgari Group, Jean-Christophe Babin said: "The earthquake in Nepal has had such devastating consequences. We need to do as much as we can, and as quickly as we can. The children and their families are our first priority. Especially in the critical area of nutrition which is the focus of the Milano 2015 Universal Exhibition where we already collaborate with Save the Children on this crucial theme."
