Lamborghini sets the bar high for open-air driving with its latest addition to the Huracán family: Huracán Performante Spyder

1. Active aerodynamics

Arguably the coolest feature of the Spyder, Lamborghini’s Aerodinamica Lamborghini Attiva (ALA) features forged carbon fibre in the front splitter, rear diffuser, and wing, allowing you to take the next corner faster with control by increasing vertical load to assist stability and speed through curves. The innovative system also adjusts downforce according to the route, which means it can accelerate to the top speed by reducing aerodynamic resistance.

2. Ultimate driving performance

With its 5.2-litre V10 naturally-aspirated engine and 640 hp, Performante Spyder can accelerate to 100 km/h in 3.1 seconds, 200 km/h in 9.3 seconds and has a top speed of 325 km/h—heightened by the extra auditory pleasure of the howling exhaust system.

3. Weight reduction

With a total dry weight of just 1,507 kg achieved by a hybrid chassis in aluminum and carbon fiber, the Spyder weighs 35 kg less than its Huracán counterparts, which gives it the best weight-to-power ratio in the Huracán Spyder range at 2.35 kg/hp.

4. Fabric roof

The Spyder’s lightweight, electrohydraulic roof drops in only 17 seconds at up to 50 km/h, which gives you the ultimate sensation of speed behind the wheel where and when you desire, while having conversations at ease even at high speeds. The rear window is also electrically operated, which acts as a windshield when opened and thrills the eardrums with engine noise when down.

Taking design cues from Lamborghini Super Trofeo race cars and performance motorcycles, the exterior of the Spyder’s sharp, clean, finely-honed lines and open-top feature make it an unmistakable convertible.
