The Victoria Dockside gives new life to the historic Kowloon waterfront in Hong Kong, featuring inspiring spaces for urbanites to live, work and play
In 1910, a freight and railway hub in Tsim Sha Tsui, connected the city to the rest of the world as one of its busiest ports. This was Holt’s Wharf. Today, it’s the site of up-and-coming art and design district Victoria Dockside.
Featuring a variety of developments, from luxury residences and hotels to art and retail complexes and green spaces, the US$2.6 billion project (S$3.521 billion) was launched in 2012 by New World Development, with the massive undertaking set to fully open this year to the delight of the world’s aesthetes.
