Prince Albert II has been fiercely passionate about its efforts for the environment and biodiversity, with more than 420 projects funded and 51 million euros of grants awarded. The biennial Ball in Monaco by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation in Asia marks its 10th anniversary this year on November 9 at the Marina Bay Sands, and it will be a celebration to remember.

Founded by HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco in 2006, the foundation has focused its efforts in the Mediterranean basin, the polar regions, and the Least Developed Countries (As defined by the United Nations). Since its inauguration, more than 400 projects have been carried out, most notably the 2013 reforestation of degraded areas near water points in Brazil, and the creation of a Centre of Social Excellence in Cameroon, for the tropical forests of the Congo basin.
