A sprawling mega mansion in Beverly Hills, California is set to become the most expensive home to ever be offered at auction. The eye-catching, Italian-inspired property, known as Villa Firenze is set to fetch a minimum of US$160M when it hits the auction block next month.

The property is currently owned by billionaire Air Lease Corporation CEO, Steven Udvar-Hazy, who had previously listed the property for US$165M before enlisting the assistance of luxury auction house Concierge Auctions to handle the record-breaking sale.

“We look forward to finding an owner as unique as this piece of real estate on auction day,” Udvar-Hazy said in a statement.

According to a CNBC report, the estate on offer is currently the largest in North Beverly Park, a gated community that Denzel Washington, Eddie Murphy, Sylvester Stallon, and more influential figures have called home in the past.

Aside from its desirable address, the one-of-a-kind Beverly Hills property has a lot to offer for the right buyer. The Italian-inspired mansion is set on over nine screws of land, accessed by its own street, and features 20 bedrooms, 23 bathrooms, a 30-car courtyard, and approximately 20,000 square feet of living space.

The lush outdoor space features an in ground pool with a pool house, a two-story guesthouse, a tennis court, and a walking/jogging trail that surrounds the perimeter of the estate and according to the existing Hilton & Hyland listing, the price also includes a separate lot for expansion or development opportunities.

While more details are still expected from the auction house prior to the sale date, more information on the record-breaking property listing can be found by visiting the official Concierge Auctions website.
