If anyone can rally the troops, it’s Rebekah Lin. In 2014, together with a good friend, she founded 50 for 50, an initiative that brought together 50 young people to help lesser-known charities through a variety of fundraising projects. By March 2016, the campaign had raised $4.5m for more than 50 charities. The daughter of former Cabinet minister Lim Hwee Hua and Tembusu Partners founder Andy Lim, says, “Giving is not just about money or time, but creating a community of givers that encourages others to be kinder.”
