You’ve seen his face everywhere —from bus ads to the silver screen—but Benjamin Kheng is best known for being one quarter of The Sam Willows, arguably one of the most successful Singaporean bands to emerge in recent years. The band has topped the iTunes charts, has close to five million streams on Spotify and YouTube, and has opened for British girl group Little Mix and Irish pop rock band The Script. “The goal is to create art that is equal parts entertaining and nourishing,” says Benjamin. “My work should ideally inspire people to take action, or be a force for the greater good.”
