RAndré Chiang recently announced that he would closing his two Michelin-starred Restaurant André. He has also said that he would be returning his stars and requested that his restaurant not be included in the 2018-edition of the Michelin Guide Singapore. In the press statement, Chiang said that he wants “to go back to cooking, have a balanced life and cook happily”. He plans to return to Taiwan and to Raw, his restaurant there. We hope he will continue what he had previously said here—that he would “inspire young chefs and show them that nothing is impossible.”
