The launch of CMC Invest in Singapore marked the platform’s entry into the region. It currently serves more than a million accounts globally, particularly in Australia and the UK

The newest mobile trading platform in Singapore, CMC Invest, officially launched last week with a big bash at the private members club, Mandala Club. The platform, owned by FTSE-listed online financial trading firm CMC Markets, is aimed at Singapore and Southeast Asia investors.

The platform is also live in Australia and the United Kingdom, offering services to more than a million accounts.

Priding itself on its transparency, the platform allows investors to trade globally listed shares, Exchange-Traded Funds (ETFs), Real Estate Investment Trusts (REITs) and money markets, with the promise of no hidden fees or charges such as deposit and withdrawal fees, platform fees, inactivity fees or settlement fees. 

It also plans to offer services in wealth management, fractional options and futures later down the line.

To celebrate its debut in Southeast Asia, the company threw a party for its clients, partners and guests. CMC Markets founder and CEO Lord Peter Andrew Cruddas was in attendance, as were several Gen.T honourees like Jeffrey Ma, Rhea See, Kelvin Lee and Verleen Goh were also in attendance.
