On the opening night of the classic Christmas ballet, The Nutcracker, last December at the Esplanade, the Singapore Dance Theatre (SDT) celebrated the evening with a private reception during intermission. Greeted by SDT artistic director Janek Schergen, guests including ambassador Yael Rubinstein and SDT director Laura Hwang dug into canapés such as mushroom spinach quiches, baked pies and muffins with relish and indulged in animated conversations.
