Some 500 guests and VIPs, including English nobility, gathered at the Singapore Polo Club in October for the Asian leg of the British Polo Day Global Series. Guests arrived to a Champagne Taittinger reception where they caught the opening Brompton Bicycle Polo Exhibition Match. A sumptuous buffet lunch followed, and everyone joined the 13th Duke of Argyll, Torquhil Campbell, to stand on their seats for a toast with a traditional quaich filled with the robust Royal Salute 21 Year Old in hand, before the two polo matches of the day ensued. The festivities later moved over to Cé La Vie Singapore for the after-party with DJ Randy Groover on the decks as models paraded the sporty, Chinese-inspired collection from Gnossem’s new label Chi Chi Von Tang.
