There’s no better way to appreciate art than with the help of the artist who created it. Art enthusiasts and friends of Hotel Vagabond Singapore were lucky enough to do just that at the grand opening of the new luxury boutique hotel where they not only got to enjoy current artist-in-residence Julia Calfee’s films, but also were able to discuss the works with the celebrated photographer and multimedia artist herself. Hotel Vagabond is the first and only hotel in Asia with an Artist in Residence programme where guests can interact with different artists over dinner or drinks. The two days of festivities saw more than 500 guests enjoying a five-star dining experience by award-winning executive chef Andrew Nocente of 5th Quarter as well as performances by DJ Captain Planet and Joy Villa.
