Singapore's dignitaries and generous members of society came together to support the worthy cause espoused by Stroke Support Station (S3): that to raise awareness and funds for the charity's programme that serve to aid low-income stroke survivors. Its second annual gala dinner was held at the Island Ballroom, Shangri-La Hotel Singapore, and saw a number of ministers including senior minister of state for trade, industry and education Chee Hong Tat, as well as minister for finance Heng Swee Keat, lend their support. The guest of honour that evening was president Halimah Yacob, who was accompanied by her husband Mohamed Abdullah Alhabshee.
