Twenty-three years is typically not a milestone occasion for businesses but for Flower Diamond and its founder Belinda Chua, every single anniversary means a lot. After all, the local jewellery scene is highly competitive with talents aplenty and for Belinda to continue thriving even after more than two decades, it shows her lasting power and underlines how well her designs sit with the clientele. To celebrate the achievement, Belinda, being the hospitable person she is, hosted a small, private luncheon for her close friends, many of whom started off as clients, at Crystal Jade Palace at Ngee Ann City to be in line with the theme of "Oriental Glamour". She even managed to convince Crystal Jade's group executive chef Martin Foo to create a special menu featuring dishes that are off the regular menu, explaining why the 60 guests in attendance were thrilled by the food galore. Like any jeweller worth her salt, Belinda also showcased some of her latest bejewelled creations, which apparently made the hearts of many guests skip a beat—not a bad way to mark a significant milestone for the brand, of course.
