An Exclusive Preview Of The Showstopping Bling At JeweLuxe Singapore 2019
Coloured gems, sparkling diamonds and bejewelled guests were aplenty at the opening weekend of JeweLuxe Singapore 2019, the region’s largest curated jewellery festival. Some of the world's most stunning bejewelled pieces, alongside modern and creative gem-set designs, wowed attendees such as society friends, who were given an exclusive preview a day before the official opening, on October 10. They showed up with enthusiasm and were ready to try the best jewels that caught their eyes—and of course, to acquire some bling to strengthen their bejewelled legacy. JeweLuxe Singapore is currently in its third year running and is held at Ngee Ann City Civic Plaza. Last year’s edition drew 13,000 visitors with a total of $12.36 million in sales.
On top of a Tatler-curated list of jewellers to check out, JeweLuxe founder Angela Loh also gave some tips on what shoppers, investors and connoisseurs should look out for this year. What’s even more special about this year’s festival is the introduction of the No Regrets programme, where customers are able to transform old jewellery pieces of their own with the help of a concierge service—into new and signed creations by a designer of their choice. A number of jewellery brands made their Asian debut this year too, including Qayten from Italy, and India’s Studio Reves. If you haven’t joined in the buzz, the festival will be held until October 20. The event starts from 12pm to 7pm daily and admission is free.
